One of the things I bought is Hup Seng Crackers, "buatan Malaysia". I was so happy can buy this in U.S. I like to eat this brand of "kiam phneah" (in Hokkien) when I was in Malaysia. It cost USD$1.49.

Free hugs.. hehehe.. Singapore has lots of it. I went to give one.. or I got one actually. Singapore people are quite open to free hugs so it went well. Only the aunties and uncles were more reserved. Maybe it's the influx of westerners in Singapore. It's very common here among friends. Only the smooches don't go around that much.
