Little words from Kikey...

That's a shame that I had been abandon this blog for a year!

I was so busy with work for 1.5 yrs (since July 2010).
Since, I am now on maternity leave expecting my first baby on March 2012.
I am deciding to recall all my memory to complete this blog about my travel.

Love,
Kikey

Passover

My host family is Jewish, so tonight they celebrate Passover.

Passover is a Jewish festival that commemorates the exodus of the Jews from Egypt and is marked chiefly by the Seder ritual and the eating of matzoth.

I had a Passover Seder with them. Passover Seder is families and friends gather around the table on the nights of Passover to read Haggadah, the story of the Israelite exodus from Egypt. Seder customs include drinking of four cups of wine, eating matza and partaking of symbolic foods placed on the Passover Seder Plate.

Getting ready to the Passover Seder.

My host grandpa was reading part of the Haggadah. I also have one part to read.. :)

The symbolic foods on a Passover Seder plate.

The Haggadah book.

My favorite Jewish Matzoh Ball Soup and the salad.

Buffet main course and yummy deserts!!

By the way, I have a quick note here..

I going to Florida tomorrow from Apr 21 until Apr 27. I will bring my laptop with me to the trip, I try to find some time to share with you about my trip, if can't, I will share with you guy after I come back from the trip.

i've always admire westerners for this. they always have so many people to sit around at the table for dinner or some celebration. I've never had a reunion dinner where everyone are present so it's always heartwarming to see everyone sit together, mingle around over dinner.

one day, I wish I can be like you. To travel, work and study. It'll be fun. =)
