Au Pair = Babysitter = Nanny
I am an Au Pair, a live-in babysitter in American family. In this program, we work as a babysitter and have to study part time courses.
As my dad said, I am a "high-class Indonesian maid" for them. Now, I start to understand the feeling and situation of my "Kakak" (my family's Indonesian maid in Malaysia).
Why "high-class Indonesian maid"?
1) Have chance to study.
2) Have chance to go on vacation.
3) Work 45 hours per week.
We had a gathering in our counselor house. As you can see we all came from different counties. I am the only Malaysian in my cluster (area).

Wao, very interesting. High class Indonesian maid. At home you hire a maid, and went there to be a maid, why not send the maid from your house to work there, then u be your own house maid,but you still got paid for travel. haha, just kidding
