Little words from Kikey...

That's a shame that I had been abandon this blog for a year!

I was so busy with work for 1.5 yrs (since July 2010).
Since, I am now on maternity leave expecting my first baby on March 2012.
I am deciding to recall all my memory to complete this blog about my travel.

Love,
Kikey

Lantern Parade

We had lantern parade on Sunday night. The Lantern Parade has it's culture roots in Japanese lantern making and Dutch tradition. People arrive at Jamaica Pond at sunset with their lanterns. Since the Halloween is coming, many children were arriving in full Halloween as well.

The parade proceeds around the pond, bringing a trail of bouncing lights into darkness that can be seen from all direction. (too bad, my cheap camera not be able to take that nice scene)

Beautiful lantern! The prices from USD$5.00 to USD$20.00.
But I really don't see any different between them.. :p

Music performance.

This is the traditional way to make apple juice..
