Little words from Kikey...

That's a shame that I had been abandon this blog for a year!

I was so busy with work for 1.5 yrs (since July 2010).
Since, I am now on maternity leave expecting my first baby on March 2012.
I am deciding to recall all my memory to complete this blog about my travel.

Love,
Kikey

Custom Christmas Cards

Year end has a lot of holidays, start from next week, Thanksgiving. Next month has, Hanukkah and Christmas, after that is New Year. On holidays we used to send greeting card for all of our friends.

In United States, American usually create their own card, they design and order them online. I am very surprise with this practice. I think is very good too, it is because we can make own design card. I am going to order Custom Christmas Cards, it can make the cards more personal by adding a photo to make our own photo Christmas cards and it with a warm personalized message.

When I was in Malaysia, what I usually did was, I went to store bought different kind of nice holiday cards and sends them to my all friends. This practice I had been continues until the year before I left Malaysia.

VistaPrint offer a high-quality graphic design service and customized printed products to small businesses and consumers. They offer high-quality solution for graphic design and full-color printing in small quantities, without the premium price. Dear Kikey - I have tagged you for a Meme on my site. I have added a little note so that if you don't wish to do it it's okay - I will still leave your link in place though - as I do like your blog. :)

My best wishes, Kloggers

Hallo Kikey - About the Meme ... it would be lovely about a Chinese book and in Chinese - if you decide to have a go at it I shall look forward to seeing it.

The recipe about the rat is supposed to be a genuine one taken from the wife of Captain Cook. I picked up the book on Friday and began to look through it at all of the recipes and couldn't believe my eyes. What was Mrs Cook thinking to make notes to her husband of how to stew a rat? The only thing that I can think of is that she may well of been really worried that he would starve to death. She had six children and I suppose it was her way of trying to make sure that their father would return. If you remember your history he was eventually captured and I believe eaten by cannibals - that is truly awful. So although he may have returned home once or twice to her, eventually she lost him for good when he reached the age of 50. She must have been a strong woman as she outlived all of her children as well.

Have a lovely day. :)
