Little words from Kikey...

That's a shame that I had been abandon this blog for a year!

I was so busy with work for 1.5 yrs (since July 2010).
Since, I am now on maternity leave expecting my first baby on March 2012.
I am deciding to recall all my memory to complete this blog about my travel.

Love,
Kikey

Salem, MA - Nov 01

Hi, friends. I came back from New York City. Before I update you about New York City. I wanna share with you about my Salem Trip. I am so sorry for the delay, especially to Cleffairy. She was waiting so long... :p

City of Salem. The first place we went were Visitor Center. To get more information about the city.

Since Salem is well known about Witch Town, everything there are regarding about Witches. The picture below is the Stop Line with witch picture on it. Very CoOL yah...

Statue of Roger Conant, founder of Salem, Massachusetts. (I knew this picture is bad quality!)

We went to a great museum, Peabody Essex Museum.

The main thing we wanted to visit is a Chinese House, Yin Yu Tang. Yin Yu Tang, a late Qing dynasty merchants' house, was originally located in southeastern China. Re-erected at the Peabody Essex Museum. From there we discovered this rare example of the region's renowned architecture and to learn about the daily life of the Huang family, who lived in Yin Yu Tang for over 200 years. To learn more about the house, visit this website, http://pem.org/yinyutang/nonflash.html

If you want to know more, click in this picture, to enlarge it.

We went to Salem Witch Museum. We learn a lot about the witches history. No photos inside the museum, cos only can take photos without flash, and my cheap camera can't get a nice photos without flash. :p (The weather was cold, as you can see, I wrapped like a "bah chang", from M size to L size!!)

On the street..

you have great shots, only some too much light. i think you should invest in a dslr since you're always travelling. i think the price should be much cheaper in the states as compared back home. cheers...

Hmm, Salem, a great town with a lot of witchcraft and pagan history. Kikey, did you buy any tarot cards as souvenir from Salem? or did you get any tarot reading from there?
