Now, I am a live-in nanny in London UK as well. I live with British family. Taking care of 1 girl and 1 boy. I also will go to study and travel around the UK and of course Europe!!
Today suppose my first day of work, but it was snowing whole day. The children have no school, we played in the snow in our garden. For me, the snow is fine, almost a foot high, but for British, that is a lot! It never happen in past 20 years. So they said that I had brought the snow with me from Boston to London. LOL..

i heard about the snow from the news here too. ..because of that u know not the air ticket from Abu Dhabi to London is only RM1500. that is very cheap but i can't go ler..coz my son is schooling...i hope i can visit London when u are still there and my sister in law also stay in London.

P/S Do you notice that in the first 3 pictures, the snow is gray rather than white? Try to set the Exposure Value (EV) of your camera to positive value, e.g. +1.
Quite a surprise to see snow now in London. It hardly snow in my 2 years (1998-2000) stay in Britain, especially the south part of Britain

Of course I have heard of nannies wearing uniforms, just like maids, even if it was more common before the 1970's.
