Trip to France - Mont St Michel(圣米歇尔山)

# A little bit longer than my usual post, if you don't have time, please come back later, i don't want you to miss any nice pictures.

Mont Saint Michel is a small island located just off the coast of the northern French region of Normandie. The island is best known as the site of the spectacular and well-preserved Norman Benedictine Abbey of St Michel at the peak of the rocky island, surrounded by the winding streets and convoluted architecture of the medieval town. Mont Saint Michel was officially inscribed as a World Heritage Site in 1979.

I had a return trip from Paris in one day. No direct train from Paris to Mt St Michel. Take TGV (France's high speed train) from Paris (A) 2 hours to Rennes (B) then take bus 1.5 hours to Mt St Michel (C).
* Unless you want to enjoy the sunrise and sunset view for Mt St Michel, if not, just do day trip is OK.

This is TGV. Picture that special request by Kheng Siong. He told me, he is the fan of high speed rail. Too bad I didn't take picture of EuroStar, which is the high speed train I took from London<-->Paris.

This picture from Wiki. To give you an idea about the geography.
