Wesak Day in London

First, show you the London Fo Guang Shan Buddhist Temple. I go there almost every Sundays, be a volunteer.

We had Bathing of the Buddha Ceremony in London's Leicester Square in honour of the Buddha's Birthday on 9th & 10th May.

Bathing Buddha. As you can see not only Chinese joined us.

Parade.

These are the members who preformed The Life of Buddha.

I am a volunteer teacher at temple. My students were performing hand sign language that they learn. Proud of them! They did very well! Even though I have to show them behind the audiences :p

Hehe.. do you see who's in this picture? :p
I am a member of Young Adult Division (青年团), we had performed hand sign language too. (Sorry for the blur picture, cos is a picture of picture from notice board :p)

We had Children Corner for the kids who came.

We had colouring and making origami.

3 of us incharged of Children Corner.

They were so happy after learn how to make the origami. (^.^)

My host family also came to visit me. That is the girl I taking care, Alice.

So you were an organizer?

I tell you my experience:
Several years ago I went to the Border Bookshop at Orchard Rd, Singapore. There were one section for Buddhism books and another section for Christianity books. At the Christianity section, I saw lots of young Singaporeans. At the Buddhism section there were only 2 people - me and a Western lady.
