The day after tomorrow

Today the youngest girl that I taking care, Avery 6 year-old sang a song for me.
The following is the lyric, I dropped my tear after she sing...

Don't be sad, when you leave.
Don't miss us, when you have home sick.

If you miss us, please come back for Emily's Bat Mitzvah.
So when you come back, I will run to you, give you a hug and a kiss.

You leaving in 2 days...
The End...

# Bat Mitzvah: The terms to describe the coming of age of a Jewish boy or girl. According to Jewish law, when Jewish children reach the age thirteen, they become responsible for their actions, and "become a Bar or Bat Mitzvah." Prior to this, the child's parents are responsible for the child's adherence to Jewish law and tradition, and after this age, children bear their own responsibility for Jewish ritual law, tradition, and ethics and are privileged to participate in all areas of Jewish community life. The parents will have a ceremony and a party for the child.

The story about Kikey

Emily came to my room and hand this to me... (She wrote on papers, I copy and paste in here)

~The story about Kikey~
By: Emily

It all started in 2007 when we were get a new au pair. Our first au pair wasn't that good. But Kikey, we knew would be such a great au pair.

I remember when we were in New Hampshire and my mom was reading au pair names and all of the sudden I heard the name Kikey. I knew at that moment, that Kikey is the au pair for us. My mom was asking why I chose her? I said because she has a cool name. So, we got Kikey.

The first day Kikey came, we were all sitting on the stairs waiting for you to arrive. Finally when you came I asked if you wanted anything to eat. That was my first question I ever asked.

When someone had stayed with you for two years, they become part of the family. It just like your dad or your mom.

I remember the first time you came to New Hampshire, you got out of the car and saw snow. At that time you never seen snow before. So, you stuck your hand in it and said it was cold! I also remember that you didn't really speak a good English at that time, but you had learned a lot!

I remember everyday after school when I studied at Angier Lower School, she would take me to Four Corners Pizza and I always have cheese ravioli. She became good friend with the people at Four Corners.

And now on the 30th January, I finally saying Good Bye...

The End...

After I read them, I feel so sad to leave her...
She also gave me a scrapbook with all the photo about the family and me...
I gonna miss her so much, my lovely girl, Emily...

Emily, one of the girls that I taking care, also my favorite child. She picked a song "Bottom Of The Ocean" from her favorite idol Miley Cyrus's album . She told me this is our song, she sing this song to me. I am so touching...

EMILY, I LOVE YOU~
I will always remember you guys as my American family members.

p/s: If you know Mandarin, feel free to visit related post in my Chinese's blog, http://liulangji83.blogspot.com/2009/01/blog-post_16.html Because it is more easy for me to express my feeling in Mandarin.

Bottom Of The Ocean - Miley Cyrus

It's been in the past for a while
I get a flash and I smile
Am I crazy
Still miss you, baby
It was real
It was right
But it burned too hot to survive
All that's left is,
All these ashes

Where does the love go
I don't know
When it's all set and done
How could I be losing you forever,
After all the time we spent together
I have to know why I had to lose you
Now you've just become like everything
I'll never find again
At the Bottom Of The Ocean

In a dream, you appear
For a while, you were here
So I keep sleeping,
Just to keep you with me
I'll draw a map,
Connect the dots
With all the memories that I got
What I'm missing,
I'll keep reliving

Where does the love go,
I don't know
When it's all set and done
How could I be losing you forever,
After all the time we spent together
I have to know why I had to lose you
Now you've just become like everything
I'll never find again,
At the bottom of the ocean

(Voice)
This is it
Let go
Breathe

You don't have to love me for me
To baby ever understand
Just know I love the time we both had
And I don't ever want to see you sad
Be happy
And I don't wanna hold you
If you don't wanna tell me you love me babe
Just know I'm gonna have to walk away
I'll be big enough for both of us to say
Be happy

(Voice)
Be happy

Countdown at New York Time Square (Ball Drop)

Countdown at New York Time Square for new year and see the ball drop is the biggest countdown in the world. More than million people were gather in Time Square.

Since it will have so many people at there, to be able to see the ball drop, we have to get there very early. We got there 8 hours before the mid night.

Security check before we get in the area.

I had a horrible experience about it, as you can see the temperature was 19'F (-7'C). We stood under the freezing cold weather for 8 hours with no toilet. At the last hour, I almost wanna gave up... But I made it!! I am so proud of myself!! And luckily I had a sweet memory about it too...

We all wrapped like a dumplings (bak chang). But still feel cold. My fingers and feet were frozen!!

I sat on the floor when my feet really hurt.

Got this 2009 countdown video clip from YouTube. As you can see a lot of people at there. Try to find me lah! (Just Kidding!! It is impossible! haha.. )

** I won't recommend you to go. But once in the life time experience is fine. No more next time for me. Even you will pay me thousand to go there!! :p

Morey's Piers

As you know, I love to travel. One of the great travel plan for holiday is Jersey Shore beach vacation.

Morey’s Piers is one of the best attractions in New Jersey. They have amusement park rides and many other boardwalk attractions. If you like to visit amusement park like I do. You will love the Wildwood Amusement park. For those who live somewhere near Morey's Pier, probably you should get the season passes. They are having a annual holiday sale until this Friday, January 9. With that offer you be able to save nearly 40% on a Season Pass to both waterparks.

There are 2 water parks, Ocean Oasis (water park & beach club) and Raging Waters (water theme park). If you are more to the amusement park, there are 3 amusement piers for you to choose, such as, Surfside Pier, Mariner’s Landing Pier and Adventure Pier.

When you looking for hotels or motels in Wildwood, it doesn't get any easier than one of the accommodations offered by Morey's Resorts. You be able to find lodging on the popular Jersey Shore by staying on the Wildwood Boardwalk. To know more information, click on the following link "Resorts in Wildwood NJ and the Jersey Shore".
