And to be with kids all the time! I think it's really a hard job, because they look up to you.

We take home our left overs all the time. I think it's wasteful if something is left on the table.

From my own experience, Americans usually ask, "How are you doing?" and the standard answer is "Good!"

Regarding wrapping the leftover food, I had this experience...
I was with two other Malaysians on my first day on American soil. At the end of the meal, the waitress asked us, "Do you need a bugs?" We were puzzled. Eventually we understood that she actually meant box, haha...

I only drive thru fast food outlet at night, when the dine-in area is closed. Save gas!

Au Pair? Haha, I'd rather call you Mom Kikey. It's funny when you said one coffee a day doesn't make you awake anymore, but it makes you alive. Haha, drink energy drinks then so you'll have more energy to drive the children crazy!

Your host dad works at home? I think it's more comfortable to work at home. Does he own his own company or hold his own time? Because my hubby does. But yeah its irritating because even clients and attorneys come to our house.
