Today the youngest girl that I taking care, Avery 6 year-old sang a song for me.

It all started in 2007 when we were get a new au pair. Our first au pair wasn't that good. But Kikey, we knew would be such a great au pair.

I remember when we were in New Hampshire and my mom was reading au pair names and all of the sudden I heard the name Kikey. I knew at that moment, that Kikey is the au pair for us. My mom was asking why I chose her? I said because she has a cool name. So, we got Kikey.

The first day Kikey came, we were all sitting on the stairs waiting for you to arrive. Finally when you came I asked if you wanted anything to eat. That was my first question I ever asked.

When someone had stayed with you for two years, they become part of the family. It just like your dad or your mom.

I remember the first time you came to New Hampshire, you got out of the car and saw snow. At that time you never seen snow before. So, you stuck your hand in it and said it was cold! I also remember that you didn't really speak a good English at that time, but you had learned a lot!

I remember everyday after school when I studied at Angier Lower School, she would take me to Four Corners Pizza and I always have cheese ravioli. She became good friend with the people at Four Corners.

And now on the 30th January, I finally saying Good Bye...

After I read them, I feel so sad to leave her...
She also gave me a scrapbook with all the photo about the family and me...
I gonna miss her so much, my lovely girl, Emily...

I am leaving my current host family soon...

After living with them for 2 years, I feel sad to leave them, even though I am very exciting to my new life at London.

Emily, one of the girls that I taking care, also my favorite child. She picked a song "Bottom Of The Ocean" from her favorite idol Miley Cyrus's album . She told me this is our song, she sing this song to me. I am so touching...

Counting Down to London: 14 days

Snowing !!!

Boston is having snowstorm. Started on Friday, the snow is non-stop until today (Saturday). It is 1 foot now (12 inches). Tomorrow predict will have another 6-8 inches.

Me and the girls that I taking care were having fun playing the snow at our backyard.

Me and Emily made this snowman, after waiting for enough thick snow. The sky was dark, cos sunset early in the winter, around 4pm.

It was snowing on Tuesday mid night, so yesterday when I wake up I am very surprise to see everything were white... I love it so much!



Avery was showing me the snow that had became ice.

p/s: Tomorrow Boston has a BIG snowstorm, predict will have 6 - 12 inches of snow. I can't wait to play in the snow and make a snowman.

Avery's 6th Birthday

Avery turning 6th on coming Tuesday. Yesterday she had the birthday party at Ben & Jerry's (FYI, Ben & Jerry's is one of the famous ice cream brand in US).

The party was fun, such as the kids can experience to make their own ice cream, tour to their freezer that store ice-cream, tie light T-shirt and face painting. Of course we had pizza and ice-cream.



Avery is Hannah Montana big fans, so she had Hannah Montana design cake.

Last night I took Avery to have dinner at restaurant, as usual she never be patient waiting for the meal come, she walks around the restaurant. A family that sat beside our table started talking to me, and they asked me, "Is she your daughter?", of course I said NO, I told them I am a babysitter. But you know what? Avery told me, "Next time you can say YES." Wah.. I have a daughter! V(^.^)V

When she is cute, she really super cute and adorable... She really make me HAPPY!

BUT

This morning she had a cracky mood before go to school, and also cried, because of that, I was yelling to her, I hope later when she come back from school will be fine...

At pool with "my daughter"

In summer when the kids out of the school, instead of staying at home doing nothing, I will the kids that I taking care to the pool (outdoor), because when the winter come we only can swim in indoor pool.

Two of my girls started school on Tuesday, Avery start school today, so last few day I had take care of her whole day, so we went to pool and zoo. This post sharing with you about the day we spent at the pool first.

Canobie Lake Park (Part 2)

This is fun ride, I remember Genting in Malaysia have this kind of ride, but the time I went to Genting it was under maintenance.

Canobie Lake Park (Part 1)

Last Sunday my host dad took the kids and me to the amusement park. Canobie Lake Park is one hour drive away from our house. We had fun, we went on almost every rides, included water rides. Those rides were interesting and fun!

When my host parents have to go out have dinner with their friends, I will take the kids that I taking care to go out to restaurant have our own dinner too, good thing is I don't have to cook!

the second girl - Emily, the sweetest child and caring person but sometime very annoying...


the youngest child - Avery, the cutest one and like to attach on me, like to cry to get something she want...

Avery is the youngest kid that I taking care. I love her a lot, she just like my "daughter". Sometime she misbehave but most of the times she is cute and adorable...

We always have funny conversation. One of the example as below:
Avery: "I wanna marry you, Kikey"
Kikey: "No, because I only marry boy not girl."
Avery: "I wanna be a boy, my name is David."
By that time, I laughed until sakit perut (stomachache). Haha.. :D

Sometimes I take her with me to buy groceries. Before we go to market, I always have to tell her a deal, "you can buy 1 thing that you like", if not she will tell me, "I want this... I want that..."

She had fun in the car's grocery cart. I dunno Malaysia have this kind of cart or not. One of the advantage for this cart is, the kid will remain sit inside the "car" to pretend driving, instead of walk and run around the market. (I think you can imagine, if they run around the market...)


Most of the American kids have a lot of dress up costumes. Avery have more than 10 different costumes. Yesterday we decided to play dress up game. She dressed up as Ariel and Pink Power Range.


Normal day I don't have to put on my glasses, unless when I using my laptop. One day she came in my room, I was wearing my glasses sat in front of my laptop, she was so surprise, cos she never seen I wearing glasses before.

Yesterday when I picked her up at school, I saw this picture she drew for me in her class. Me, black long hair and have a glasses on my face with my name and her name. She told me she drew me wearing glasses and sit in front of my laptop. (the green thing at left hand side is my laptop)
